Media Coordinator

The Cactus media team is in search of our next rockstar in the making. The media coordinator plays a critical role in the operations of our department. You’ll become our media billing guru, ensuring flawless receipt and payment of invoices. You’ll become a media research maven, developing a deep understanding of key media planning and buying tools, research methodologies and datasets. You’ll get ingrained with the numbers, supporting our media analytics lead in pulling performance data, finding insights and compiling reports. You’ll become a well-rounded pinch hitter, supporting the media team in media planning and buying duties across traditional and digital. And most importantly, you’ll get to learn from some of the best in the business (if we do say so ourselves), gathering an understanding of the current media landscape, planning fundamentals, media jargon and the integrated advertising process.

While industry experience isn’t required for this role, a strong desire to learn is. We need someone eager to jump in, unafraid to step up, and excited to be a strong contributor to our team and agency culture. You’ll need to be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work at a quick pace, and be meticulous when it comes to attention to details.

Salary:

$48,000 - $55,000 commensurate with experience

Location:

This is a Denver based role with a hybrid schedule; 3 days in office 2 days WFH

Job Roles

Acts as the Media team project manager on all media billing processes and timelines, collaborating closely with Accounting and Project Management teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of media vendor invoices and client billing packets.
Creates estimates and enters print, digital and out of home media buys into Strata.
Receives and processes vendor invoices and ensures timely invoice clearing and payment
Maintains accurate and up to date billing files in sync with the Project Management & Accounting team
Assists in the pulling of information from various media department data sources (e.g., STRATA, Google Ads, Meta, Google Analytics, The Trade Desk, etc.)
Manages internal team meeting coordination and general vendor inquiries.
Collects and organizes information to assist in the development of tactical media plans.
Performs consumer, market, and media landscape research to help inform strategic media plans.
In partnership with the media planners, manages the creation of spec sheets and communicates production needs and deadlines to all necessary teams.
Assists in media trafficking and contracting, including performing work in self-serve paid media platforms like Meta, Google Ads, and The Trade Desk.
Maintains accurate client flowcharts, buy detail sheets, trafficking sheets and buy specifications.

Qualifications

Outstanding skills with Mac OS, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets,
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities at once
Experience with Strata or Workamajig a plus
Relevant media experience and/or experience managing invoices and data entry preferred
Certifications for digital ad platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads or Programmatic media a plus
A strong appetite to learn - from strategic concepts and research approaches to process improvements and project management
