    Grit Digital Health is a human-centric business comprised of specialists in entrepreneurship, behavioral health, wellness, technology and marketing communications.     In 2015, Grit developed the YOU@College student well-being portal, with the mission of using technology to leverage students’ ability to succeed in the areas of: academic and career success, physical and mental health, as well as finding meaningful connections and purpose on campus both in and out of the classroom. The Grit team works closely with college officials to create collaborative partnerships to maximize the power of the YOU portal on their campuses. The internship will provide a diverse array of experiences that allow interns to gain great insight into many angles of work. The position is an ideal fit for students interested in psychology, health promotion, journalism, marketing and entrepreneurship.

  • Primary Responsibilities

    - Assist in creation of content to promote mental and physical wellness for college populations: road-mapping areas of new content, drafting and copywriting content, and identifying visual elements to be included in the portal
    - Assist with maintenance of the content management system (CMS) for the purposes of tagging, content updates and content additions for both universal and campus-specific systems
    - Carry out quality assurance checks of the YOU portal before it is launched at a new college
    - Assist in creation and review of student surveys and draw conclusions on how the portal and user experience could be improved
    - Assist with onboarding of new institutions and maintain current relationships with colleges and universities under the direction of the Director of Campus Programs
    - Influence Grit team’s social media strategies and content
    - Attend weekly status meetings with executive leadership and engage in tasks to roadmap improvements of the YOU portal
    - Provide insight into user experience, review existing articles on the portal from the perspective of a student user

  • Qualifications

    - Strong writing and verbal communication skills
    - Ability to think critically, create efficient processes and voice new ideas
    - Ability to work as a member of a team
    - Organization and patience with detailed tasks
    - Ability to manage your time and prioritize when working in a fast-paced environment
    - Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint and Excel)

    Grit Digital Health offers unpaid internships at this time. All internships are part-time and require 20 hours per week. Candidates must be willing to work in the Denver-based office.
