Cactus Wins Direct Mail Campaign of the Year at the 2016 Healthcare Marketing IMPACT Awards

Campaign for University of Colorado Hospital recognized by Advertising Age and Modern Healthcare

Cactus was awarded a Gold for Direct Mail Campaign of the Year (provider/insurer) at the 2016 Healthcare Marketing IMPACT Awards, presented by Advertising Age and Modern Healthcare. Cactus’ The Human Harmonic Project campaign for University of Colorado Hospital was recognized as the best in the nation.

Cactus developed The Human Harmonic Project to educate doctors nationwide about University of Colorado Hospital’s medical outcomes. Working with a team of sound engineers, Cactus used data gathered from the human body and translated it into musical notes to create a soundscape of the body at work. The track was pressed onto limited edition vinyl and promoted via direct mail. Doctors were encouraged to visit a landing page to download the outcomes data and request their own copy of the vinyl record. All of the records were claimed in less than two weeks, more than 652 physicians downloaded the outcomes data, and the accompanying video had more than 165,000 views.
